It's a short and sweet loop that wanders around the summit offereing spectacular views in all direction of Acadia National Park. It is on the highest peak on Mount Desert Island and is the first spot in the United States to catch the morning sun. Wake up before dawn to catch the glory of the sun.

The Lighthouse is a historical landmark constructed in 1876. Located at the sourthern most tip of Mount Desert Island just south of Bass Harbor and close to Wonderland and Ship Harbor Trails.

Ocean Path is a trail from Otter Point to Sand Beach. The trail is a beautiful coastline with piercing pink granite rock in protection against the constant waves.

A beautiful vista of pond between two mountains. On the south side is Jordan Pond House and recommended to make reservations and to try the popovers.

Bubble Rock is a famous boulder that was deposited by glaciers at a seemingly peculiar spot by the edge of a cliff. A hike from the Bubbles Parking Lot to Bubble Rock and the top of South Bubble makes for an easy and family-friendly hike with great views. Be careful to keep an eye on the little ones to not get to close to the cliff edge.

If you also want to see three beautiful carriage road bridges , start with Spring Trail. Although it's very strenuous it has incredible alpine views. And those looking to extend the adventure can continue hiking north to the taller neighboring Sargent Mountain (the 2nd highest peak in Acadia).
